Our mission is to provide loving care and encouragement that empower children to become independent, creative, and confident learners. We nurture their curiosity and resilience so they can embrace new challenges and actively contribute to their communities.
Grounded in Montessori principles, we offer a Spanish-language immersion environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 6 months to 5 years) grow in a setting that values diversity, respect, and lifelong learning.

Director
Get ready to meet Maribel Shehab, a dynamic leader with over ten years of experience in early childhood education! As the Director of Soles Montessori, she combines her passion and expertise, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and currently pursuing her Master’s. Maribel is Montessori-certified for Infant, Toddler, and Childhood education, bringing a wealth of knowledge to guide children and families through the incredible Montessori journey. With her commitment to fostering a nurturing and respectful Spanish-immersion environment, Maribel is dedicated to helping children become confident, compassionate, and independent learners.

Licensing
Soles Montessori Child Development LLC (“Soles Montessori”) is licensed by the District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). We are guided by standards set by the American Montessori Society.
